Word from the Owner
SMI Agency was started on January 1, 1981 in a small corner office in Galveston Texas. The building was owned by my mother and father. They generously offered me half of the building to establish a location for the business. As business grew so did my need for expansion. My first location was less than 400 sq ft and was by myself. I now operate in a space just over 2500 sq ft and manage 12 employees. We have had many ups and downs but through it all we have kept God as the lead administrator within the company and He has always pulled us through.
